How it works

From a single draft to a post on every channel

DM Social is used by the Deep Marketing team, not by the public. Here's what happens between connecting a client's accounts and a post going live.

Step 01

Connect the accounts

The account owner grants access through the platform's own OAuth screen, limited to the approved scopes.

Step 02

Create & adapt

Draft the master copy, add media, and adjust each channel's version to its format and limits.

Step 03

Schedule

Pick a date and time; the post is queued for every channel selected.

Step 04

Publish & track

At the scheduled time the tool publishes and stores the result and permalink per account.

In detail

Connecting an account

Every connection starts on the platform's official authorization flow (OAuth). The account owner sees exactly what they're granting and approves it themselves. DM Social receives an account identifier, the basic profile details needed to publish, and access tokens — nothing more. Tokens are stored securely and used only for the purposes that were authorized.

Creating and adapting content

Content is written once as a master copy in the brand's voice. From there the tool prepares a version for each destination — respecting the length, tone and media each platform expects. Images and video can be generated, imported, or reused from the brand's media library. Nothing is published until it's reviewed.

Scheduling and publishing

Scheduled posts join a queue, one entry per channel. When the time comes, DM Social publishes through each platform's native API:

  • TikTok — via the Content Posting API, after the account owner's authorization through TikTok Login Kit.
  • Instagram & Facebook — via the Meta Graph and Pages APIs on the connected business accounts.
  • LinkedIn — via LinkedIn's Posts and Shares APIs.

The outcome of every attempt — success, the resulting permalink, or any error the platform returned — is recorded so the team can see the state of each post.

How data is handled

DM Social only touches what it needs to publish on a client's behalf. Data obtained through the platforms' APIs is never sold, rented, or shared for advertising, and is never used to train AI models. When an account is disconnected — from the tool or from the platform's own security settings — its tokens are deleted. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
